The Occupy Movement Continues On!

The Occupy movement began in mid-September at Zuccotti Park in New York City near Wall Street. The Occupy Movement protests against high unemployment, corporate greed, and the undue influence of corporations, particularly from the financial sector. The movements’ slogan "We are the 99%" refers to the growing difference in wealth throughout U.S. between the wealthiest 1% and working America. The protest has gained national attention and has spread across the country and globally from New York to cities such as Boston, Los Angeles, Oakland, Detroit, and London.
